17th Weigh-In: 2lbs Down & New Progress Photos

I’ve slashed another 2lbs off my body which makes me a happy fellow.  I think of all the progress that I have made so far and I know that I have still got along way to go and lots more effort to put in but I’m just so excited, that I want to…. to…  rent a car and run over some puppies ::sick!::

Below an older photo from back in January 22nd 2008 and a photo my lovely wife took yesterday, August 9th (2008)

The photo I don’t think shows all the progress that I have made;

STRETCH MARKS: the stretch marks on my biceps have mostly gone, there is just a small area with stretch marks on my triceps.

SHOULDERS: my shoulders are much broader now, resulting in some of my clothes to have less to tuck into my trousers, as well as the sleeves of my shirt need to be rolled up because they are now too short. ::I look cheap if I don’t roll them up, ha ha::

CHEST: even though I still have man-boobs they are changing. I was expecting them to decrees by going in, but as I am building the muscle they are rising upwards ::ha ha:: It’s all good, they are a lot firmer and I can make them twitch ::oops, I am typing faster than my mind is again!::

BURIED MUSCLE: I have made a lot of muscle gains in my; upper back, arms, chest, legs but they are all buried under the layers of fat that still remain. I keep telling myself that they are getting ready for that grand  future photo shoot when I have reached my goals. ::I’m still oozing in optimism::

LOVE LOSS: no I am not talking about my love life, my love life is fine, actually it’s better than fine, er which I can’t tell you about because it is out of the scope of this post…. ::ha ha:: I don’t blog about everything! Ok back on track, I am losing my love handles, which I like very much!

Get your own graph at skinnyr

Since January 11th 2008 I have come down 28lbs, slashed 5 inches from my waist and 4 inches from my hips.  I still have another 54lbs to burn off and I am going to do it by the 31st of January 2008, SO WATCH THIS SPACE!!

Congratulations! It’s obvious that you are working hard to achieve your goal. I keep praying for the motivation to just get started, but, well, I’m still praying. Looking forward to watching your progress.

Congrats! You certainly show that if there is a will, there is a way. Losing weight is really a challenging process and many people lost their grips after it did not work out. However, you are definitely committed to make it happens. I believe you can! :)

Hi BK, Thanks for dropping by to encourage me. I was just like that, trying to lose weight before, with diet this and diet that and I was so ignorant, and just kept failing.

We need to educate ourselves, set realistic goals and then “JUST DO IT!”

Take care,
Andrew

Wow buddy … you look great! I’ve also noticed the increase in traffic you’ve been getting. Trust me, you’re reaching out and helping significantly more than 5 people. You’re an inspiration to many!

Congratulations on your success and accomplishments!

Hi Susan, thanks for your kind words. If I can help at least 5 people learn out about REAL fat loss and lose their extra baggage before the prim of their life is over then I’ll be a happy man!

Take care & Train Hard! :-)

Hey Andrew,

I stumbled in here through another blog (Israel’s, maybe?) and wanted to leave you some encouragement.

I started out in my health journey at the beginning of the year at 440 pounds. This week, I crossed the hundred pound mark at 340 pounds.

I’m proof that if I can loose some substantial weight naturally through hard work, then anybody can! Keep it up and let’s see you hit that goal in January!
