Weigh-in 90: YES! YES! YES!

This was a successful week slashing 3lbs down to 233lbs! I am getting closer to the 220’s which I hope I can reach with next weeks weigh in.

I want to add something to my weigh-ins so I am going to go into the highs and lows of the week and what I have done to survive them (or own up if I fail them).

Lows

I almost fell off the wagon on yesterday that could have ruined all my effort. Susan (my lovely wife) was out for the day and I was home alone with Daniel (my son) and I was attacked with what I call boredom hunger and I just wanted to feed! My solution for this was simply to get busy. I got Daniel and his pram ready and we headed off into town by puting one foot in front of the other. With my boredom gone I was even able to buy Daniel a bag of chips and he polished them off himself. I think we must have been out for a good 3 hours.

Highs

Planning all my meals and workouts has had its benefits from the start of this long blubber banishing journey.  I plan everything that I put in my mouth and every workout is though out a week ahead. Yes it takes time, but hey you would not believe how much time you have when you only watch about 2 hours of TV a week 😛

Another thing that is showing it’s paying off is the promise that I made myself about how I would spend my lunch breaks at work.  My job has me sitting in front of the computer, so my lunch breaks are spent on my feet.  I think only one day in the three weeks I have been working I haven’t gone out for a walk (because it was raining).

So taking advantage of all this lovely warm weather we are having my lunch breaks are; eat my lunch and then head out for a walk using the remaining 50 min of my lunch break.  This I believe has benefited my weigh-in results over the last 3 weeks.

Ok that’s a wrap, I am looking forward to next week and let’s see what happens, I am hoping for a 229lbs at least for next weeks weigh-in.
