The BIG Move: Red Tape

So far Susan and I have about 85% of the documentation prepared and ready for Susan’s settlement visa to go to the UK, and we hope to get this finished before the end of the week.
My parents have been awesome, and to tell you the truth we could not have done it without them! They have truly given their all, and then some!
We are currently planning to leave sometime towards the end of June and we are using a visa consultant to help us get through all the procedures so that we can get the visa within our time frame.
Susan and I are very optimistic about the move, I am looking at staring a seminar production business on, yeah what else but the fitness lifestyle and holistic personal development (have a sneak peak; thehumanframe.co.uk). You guys will get to hear more news about this in the not so distant future.
We are going to busy settling into a new life, more so for Susan, there is a big difference going on holiday to a country than moving to live there. She’ll have a lot of cultural issues to workout. I told her that she needs to have the same thinking as I did when I first arrived in Indonesia, “It’s not wrong, it’s just different!”
My mother-in-law will also be following us for a 6 month holiday, which will also be good for my wife, and I love my mother-in-law she is cool, I hate calling her ‘mother-in-law’, she’s my second mum!
I have been in Indonesia for 6 years now and I will need to readjust into British culture again, I am sure that I will see how much of Indonesian custom has become apart of me within a few weeks of living there and getting back into the system.
We are excited about this new chapter and I’ll be blogging some more about this to let you know how the big move is going.
