Weekend Screw Ups: A Confession

These last four to five weeks I have been screwing up a lot over the weekends, yep! I haven’t been plateauing; I’ve been taking to many liberties over the weekends.

Bread has been the main culprit. There is a bread van that passes my house every morning and I have been its customer on Saturday’s and Sunday’s for about a month now; munching on its cheese buns and sausage and cheese finger rolls (yes all white bread, and the cheese rolls have sugar in them).

I need to get myself out of this rut, and out of this bad habit that I have been learning.

Those of you that are my Facebook friends will have noticed my status update about two weeks ago will have noticed that I had an accident with a pizza, yeah accident, yeah right? ::lie to yourself why don’t you!::

And then this Saturday I scoffed down a McDonald’s cheese burger (thankfully it was just the burger and not a meal) and then I washed it down with two cans of ice cold Bintang (Indonesian beer).

So this patch of rubbish weigh-in’s have been down to bad food choices that have been occurring over the weekends.

This weekend I have gotten Susan (my wife) on board to keep me from the bread van and then we have deleted the Pizza Hut and the McDonald’s phone number from my mobile phone.

So I need to get back in action and whip myself right and get back into the pain of discipline.

Hi Andrew, but you got a treadmill now so that should bring your results back up. I am so gutted that I can’t run, I enjoy it but my doctor has forbidden me (due to my hip), but I am swimming now so that makes up for it.
